'every-other-day-drawing' [080708]
It's my younger sister's birthday today. I gave her money but the monetary gift didn't feel quite right (and special) that's why I decided that I'll just draw Ohmiya for today's drawing exercise. I didn't want to draw Ohno cause his nose is a pain to draw but, oh well, there's no escaping it- I really need to draw it for my sister even though I know that the outcome would look sucky. orz
no, wait I take it back. that's not really Ohno.. it's just a random person with Nino..haha :D

I remembered my obsession with the Backstreet Boys last night while inside the jeepney on the way home. I became a fan when they went to the Philippines in 1996. My parents supported my sister and me in our fandom. My mom bought everything there is about BSB: magazines, VHS tapes and cassette tapes (we don't own a CD player then). She even gave us her expensive unused collage book so we can make a clippings album. I begged my dad to make a bank account with the money for concert tickets for when they decide to come back to Manila (haha stupid kid would do anything.. my dad tricked me into believing that he did make a bank account for the tickets though XD). Well, they came back... after 10 years. I thought I wasn't that much of a fan anymore when they returned. My elder sister bought tickets for my mom, younger sis and me. I left from the office to meet up with my mom and sister at Araneta. I thought that it would be a simple performance- just another concert. But when they appeared on stage, I cried. I cried so much! It was so magical... a dream come true. They were a huge part of my childhood, of my highschool days. If I didn't become a BSB fan, I'm sure I wouldn't be an Arashi fan either.
I'll wait for my chance to see Arashi. It's possible. It will happen. Oh yeah. :D
