Anyway, I was browsing through my mom's stamp collection and found this...

I shall call this A Day in History, The Year That Was (haha! :D)

These are postage stamps for the Peace Fund Campaign dated March 31, 1951. So... today marks its 57th year of release. Lovely <3

And because of that, I also tried to look for any stamps that are released on my birthday and found one:

four day vacation has finally ended. it felt like an ordinary weekend... ehehe. but don't get me wrong, i did some serioous thinking about the way i have been living my life... felt sorry for my sins, too.

most people would go to their family's provinces every year coz it's the only time you can enjoy your summer if you're already a working slave girl like me. my dad wanted to book us a flight to agusan del norte so that we can finally meet our relatives. but agusan is in mindanao... it's sooooo far awaaaaay! you're prolly thinking that wouldn't be a problem eh? but there's a reason: we have a zoo at home (well, not really a zoo... more like a mini mini zoo). we can't leave our 2 dogs, 2 turtles, 2 mice and loooots of cats alone at home with nothing to eat and drink. if we leave them with lots of kibbles to last a few days, i'm pretty sure they'll devour all of it in one day. haha... yes. and just think of how bad our house is gonna stink. we don't want to bother other people (like relatives or friends) into watching our zoo house for us... it'll be too much of a hassle.

so there. i can only dream for now. no green pastures, coconut trees, cute little goats, big carabaos, waterfalls. but hey, i enjoyed my four day vacation. i ate lots of bananas, went to the mall, watched korean movies, animes and japanese dramas with my family. and the best part of my vacation? my dad got addicted to yamada taro monogatari. yes.. my dad. he even calls Ninomiya "my kid" or says "i'm worrying too much! feel like yamada taro right now". haha :D

well anyway...

okay! i'll get by, i know i can.. hee hee. anyway, i brought home a kitty last friday. i found him beside the road at Tayuman. he's a little undernourished but in a week or so i'm sure he'll be a chubby little kitten with the help of some fish and vitamins (and lots of lve too! <3). we also have another cat- Step... named after Arashi's song 'Step and Go' hehe... but her full name is Stephanie Anne Go..haha! XD

it's just yesterday thati've started listening to News' albums. i love their songs! and Tego... his voice is so beautiful <3<3<3 my favorites (right now) are Ai Nante, Bambina, Hoshi wo Mezashite and Sayaendo.

another weekend. i'm sure that my younger sister's friends are at our house right now. they'll be fangirling, watching lots of videos and looking at scans. hee hee :D

i've already watched 'attack on the pinup boys' last week. funny movie. kim hee chul reminds me of american idol season 7's danny noriega.

owkie... gotta go home now. (and i also need to go to the loo). buhbye.

I saw the teaser of Hana Kimi (Ikemen Paradise) on GMA7 last night. I've read from forums that ABS-CBN already bought the taiwanese version? will ABS still push with HK taiwan if GMA shows the Ikemen first? I'm not a fan of the taiwanese version (I only liked it at first because of WuZun) but I'm a little disappointed that GMA bought the rights for Ikemen because they suck in dubbing dramas and anime (example: Bleach and Coffee Prince... although I'll just say that the dubbing of CF is 'passable'... but still not that good). The quality of their dubbing sounds a little canned, doesn't suit the character or doesn't sound like the voice of the real actor.

Oh well... hope they'll do a better job in choosing voice actors this time. If not, they should just stick to the original and just add Tagalog subs. Hana Kimi Japan is a good drama- most of the people I know became addicted to japanese dramas because of it. aaaand.... Ikuta Toma is so loveable, too.

nationwide transport strike. for the first time, damang-dama ko siya~ unlike nung mga nakaraang transport strike na parang wala lang. united sila in fairness!

my siko powers saved me from being stranded. bruskong-brusko ako kanina, tinulak ko ang ibang sumasakay sa jeep para lang mauna ako makaupo. haha! i'm so proud of myself.

ngayon... problema ko naman kung paano ako makakauwi mamya.
