'every-other-day-drawing' [073008]

-------------

[real life]
i've been praying for this although deep in my heart,
i know that there'll be a negative outcome.

now that the result's positive...
how come i'm not happy? =(
--------------
it's kinda funny how i should be worrying over something important yet i'm too preoccupied with Ohno's drama. i love Arashi, that's the main reason. And because of that, I did my part in the email/message thingy to show my support for Riida and Arashi. Gambatte Ohno! <3

And Novie... your big text size scares me!! Type "creature" na lang..

Poor Ohchan. Stupid tabloids are at it again. Yeah, I know that it comes with the popularity but then again idols are entitled to their own happiness, too. They work hard, even strain themselves just to provide us entertainment. Why can't they leave him alone? How can those people sleep at night knowing that they've ruined people's lives? I stand by my belief that our Riida is innocent with the grass rumors. And about the 3p, it's nothing that serious... he's already an adult, he's not akid anymore! Sick bastards.

Gambatte Riida. The fans are here for you and Arashi. We Can Make It! <3

------

I keep refreshing blogpages for updates and now Sho-kun is also under the tabloid's attack. Oh please, not my Shochan again [T_T].

---------

I wanted to continue with my 'every other day drawings'. Here's for today:

I accidentally burn my hand while ironing my clothes this morning. It's nothing serious, it's just a little reddish and it stings. I'm sure that the redness will be gone by the time I get home from the office. ^^

I'm back to my cola addiction. It's been a while. I missed you Coke.

I've planned on making a notebook with daily drawings. I failed. Maybe 'every other day drawings' will do for now. =)

-----------

My younger sister's friend Hannah has a japanese friend she met online. They're just the same age, 17. Just this week, she sent Hannah a magazine. It was Myojo, wherein Arashi has black&white pictures... the HOT shots where you can see Ohchan and Sho-kun's abs. Wooooh.. *envy*.. wheeehh~

I'm a crybaby... and it shows whenever I watch a movie, even documentaries on Animal Planet. But I seldom cry so much that I burst into uncontrollable sobbing fits. This happened when I watched Koizora (The Sky of Love) last night. How can a story about a teenage girl's first love be this heartbreaking?! [T_T]

The first half of the movie was fast paced. I watched how the relationship of Mika and Hiro develop and how Mika had to go though rough roads in her young high-school life. A sweet story it really is but tragic one hour into the end of the movie. Mika compared Hiro to the river- flowing endlessly and leaving her behind. Hiro wanted to be the sky so that he can watch over Mika forever *sob*. From what I've read from reviews and summaries, this is a true story written by a newbie author named "Mika" and it was released as a series in cellphone novel stories. A very dramatic real-life story about love, friendship and family and I am grateful that she's written this story for without it we wouldn't have this beautiful movie.

The movie all throughout is wonderfully shot especially the breath-taking view of the skies over Japan. The actors of the characters were perfectly chosen. I was not a big fan of Yui Aragaki when I watched the series My Boss, My Hero. I just knew she's the cute dancing girl in the Pocky commercial. This movie made me appreciate her. Miura Haruma (the Gokusen 3 boy) as the loner bleached-blonde haired Hiro really impressed me with his acting. He excellently delivered his moody role. A little google search and I found out that he's only 17 years old- very young but he already has depth in acting. This kid will go far.

Okies... that is all. My eyes are still a little puffy from all the crying. I'll force my sisters into watching Koizora this weekend. hihi :D

Just a random illustration made out of boredom. I needed to kill time. I should be sad right now but for some unexplainable reason I don't feel so low. It's great to talk to friends who comfort me and keep me level-headed. I'm forever thankful for my wonderful friends for without them I would have already given up on dreaming and living.

--------------------------

I watched "My Bestfriend's Wedding" last sunday on HBO and was inspired by the bellboy who tried to talk to Julia Roberts who's smoking in the hotel's corridor. He said that his grandma used to tell him "This, too shall pass." Short and simple but very powerful in making someone who feel as if he'd fallen at the bottom of a pit not lose hope. I hope that everything will turn out fine.

--------------------------------

Last night after everyone has gone to bed, I went to my room and just laid on my bed. I stared at the ceiling. I prayed, cried then fell asleep. I had another weird dream but I have already forgotten the details. These past few weeks I've been having multiply dreams every night. It's very rare for me coz usually I only get one dream whenever I sleep.

NINO AND RYO DRAMA CONFIRMED!!!!

yellow+yellow=HOT!!! ahahahaha XD
(oh lookie! i had the time to make this silly picture.. just because.. hehe XD)

woooh!! the little yellow devil prankster even wrote a little hint in his nikki.. haha XD

DV!Ryo... haha. I love him! He seems like a very moody person. And thank you for including Erika Toda!! That girl is freaking cute. She's an adorable Amane Misa and even if my sister was cursing at her in Hanadan... I was still rooting for her (Go get your Doumyouji.. lolz

------------------------------

Watched Maou episode 3 last night. WHAAAAAAT??? it's so bitin! My dad was pretending to watch his latenight news but he's actually looking at the computer's monitor. I heard him whispering... "taga-Arashi yun ah". Oh dad! haha! we should've let him see his "godchild Taro"'s small cameo XD. Well anywaaaay, I didn't watch the korean version (Mawang) so I don't know any of the twists of the story (plus, i don't want any spoilers haha). Little Shiori was at the scene of the crime? Who's that Otaku guy??? Did Naruse plan everything for years (man, that's a helluva long-tem plan!). How does he manipulate people into doing the crimes for him??? I don't knowwwwwwww!!! He's scary! When he played "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" in the car while glaring at the rear view mirror.. it was really creepy! And his stalking skills... he's better than Ryo "Sousuke"!!

That Shiori girl is so cute... I think I'm developing a girly-crush on her. Her eyes are impossibly large but cute... She has an angelic face just like Shin Min Ah (I love love Min Ah in "Sad Movie"). I want more Shiori/Naruse moments!!!!

---------------------------

it's been a long time since i had my busy little hands into video editing. i miss cutting videos and adding transitions!! what happened? i used to be addicted with video editing that i'd make videos of my friends and family gatherings?! i'm searching for the installer at home or maybe yet i'll buy a new one. i'm a little inspired... i want to try make my first fanvid. hihi :D

i hate html codes but ya know... i had to edit my blogger layout on on my own since i'm such a noob in tutorials. ahaha. well anyway.... it's been a year since i last updated my blogger's layout.

gah! i really have to stop signing up in blog/journal sites!! i should stop entertaining invites from friends whenever a new social/journal site is considered the 'in' thing.

how many blogs do i have now? hmmmm.... this one (blogger), multiply, livejournal, my portfolio site (blogger), and another secret blogger. wooh! five journals! wahaha :D wait till i get the time to create a vox account..joke! haha XD

i hope the rain stops before 7pm. i hate it when it rains. a dripping wet umbrella is such a pain when commuting. the puddles ruins my high-heel shoes! when i get home, i'll watch Maou with my sister. maybe i'll watch Koizora (movie) or Crow Zero, too.

Still high from last night's Shounen Club Premium. It's a good thing that my dad changed his mind about stopping from subscribing in cable tv to lessen our monthly expenses (he wouldn't have anything to watch on local TV anyway coz he's always watching Animal Planet and JackTV..hehe). Even though Koyama is the guest (interviewee) in the show, it really felt as if Arashi were the real guests.. hehe.

They performed 3 songs plus their concert was shown at the Johnny's Stage Report. "My Answer" is absolutely awesome! And Sho's bicep-flexing before the performance left me with an asdffdgsdfg expression!! haha! We were 'super-glued' on the TV! My younger sis and I really enjoyed watching the show... with our dad sitting directly in front of the TV. It was so funny that me and my sister can flail and squee for Arashi while watching with our dad. Dad doesn't mind, really. I think he enjoyed it, too, judging from his comments "Where's Taro? Wait, Taro's not there??". He was also amazed with Musical Academy's BMX dance.

The second song, "Move Your Body"'s dance is so cool!! They looked kick-ass in black clothes (and Sho is sexaaay in tight black suit 8D). In "One Love", my younger sis would cover her ears and say "Matsujun is so good-looking! Matsujun is so hot" whenever it's Jun's turn to sing. He sounded a little whiney but cute. They all looked wonderful in all the songs (even though Ohchan and Aiba looked a little tired with puffy eyes and dark under-eye circles). Oh yeah. It's 'magical' when you can watch directly on local/cable TV instead of downloading. But since we only have two NHKs for japanese channels, downloading from awesome generous people who upload their shows is great, too.

Speaking of downloading, I've yet to watch Maou episode 3 even though I already have the softsubs because my sis is lazy when it comes to looking for raw files online. She said she'll just wait for the hardsubbed version. Maybe I'll download the raw files tonight when I get home from the office so that tomorrow we can finally watch evil Naruse-sensei and his evil evil plans. I heard he's already falling inlove with Shiori (that cute giggly psychic girl). I hope Toma/Naoto will stop from running and rest for a while. The poor detective must have strong legs from all the running! hehe XD

Enough with the dramatics.. haha :D

I'm fine now... fine and dandy... alive and kicking (whut?! XD)

I had another impulsive shopping episode last night. I bought cosmetics: compact powder, mascara, blusher and moisturizing soap. I love make-up. The sad thing though is I'm not that good in application. People say that it's just like painting... I'm a fine arts graduate yet I find it very hard to paint eyeshadows and liquid eyeliners on people's faces.

While choosing mascara at the make-up counter, I saw this dual-mascara and showed it to the saleslady. I asked her "Why two? what is this other thing for? =)". She explained that it's for lengthening and curling the lashes. It acts as an extension so that when you apply the regular black mascara, it will make your lashes look longer and flirtier. She wanted to apply it on my peepers as demo but I was shy and just told her I'm in a hurry. I went to the cashier and paid for the goodies. Before leaving the mall, I also bought dinner at McDonald's (it's been a long time

When I got home, I tried the mascara on my lashes. It was a challenge!!! After a few strokes, I decided to stop cause I already look like a spider...lolz XD. It's a good thing that my younger sis is in the kitchen so I asked her to volunteer as a blank canvas. Foundation, powder, blush, and mascara. She looked good! She's so dalaga with make-up on. Practice really does make perfect... haha! XD

--------------------

Last Sunday, my younger sis had a tantrum. She's begging me to buy "the other" limited edition of Kaze no Mukou He/Truth single. She said she'd buy the other limited edition with her own money. I told her "No, I don't have moneyyyy D:". She sulked in the corner and said: "You don't even have to throw a party on my birthday... I'd be happier if you'll just buy me the single."

Because of that an idea popped into my head. I told our elder sister that I want to surprise our lil sis on her birthday with a party at McDonald's. It'll be fun coz kiddie parties are now common with young adults. There'll be a package with the mascot included so it'll be easy coz Mcdo will arrange the party for us. But then I realized that the three of us (my sisters and I) are shit-scared of clowns. Sorry Ronald McDonald... it's nothing personal, I just hate clowns. I don't want to hurt/kick you in the arse if you go near me.. hehe. So the McDo party is definitely off the list.. and still no Arashi single for her on her birthday. I want her to be practical- learn how to manage her own money (well at least for now). I'd rather buy her a pen tablet but that's more expensive so ummm.. no. haha. XD

just another day...
3:07 PM

I had an interesting conversation with an older colleague. With more than ten years of experience in her field, she had a lot stories to share. Although we talked for only fiteen minutes, I learned a lot from her. Her story is very sad... one that I can totally relate to. She gave me an advice that made me think so much about all the things that has happened. She's a very wise woman and I respect and thank her for what she has told me.

-------------------------

I had a dream last night. It was one of those rare vivid dreams that I only get whenever I think too much before going to sleep. It felt real. I wanted it to be real but reality just had to kick me out of my slumber. I woke up with this numbing pain roaring in my gut. So much for happy hearts and lucid dreams.

------------------

One of my highschool bestfriends has just given birth today. We're already planning a meet-up-slash-visit after a year of not seeing each other. I miss them so much.

Watched the last few minutes of the show Wednesday J-pop on NHK last night. They hadd this countdown and (maybe it's Oricon) guess who's on number 1? Of course, it's Arashi's "One Love"!! My sister and I were squeeing at the television telling my dad "look! look pa! it's Arashi! it's Taro!". haha XD

After the show, there was this short animation of a cat. Only one minute but it was very funny. People kept on stepping on his tail and he's plotting a revenge. i googled for NHK CAT STEP TAIL and lots of keyword but didn't find any links to it. But I'm stubborn so I didn't stop. I searched NHK in Crunchyroll and tadaaaaaa~ FOUND IT!: Ani Kuri 15 Episode 12 8D
I didn't know that it's part of the series of anime shorts that I've been seeing on NHK. My sis and I always watch this documentary on NHK about anime creators. Last Saturday, they featured the creator of Slam Dunk, Takehiko Inoue.
According to a research they made, his manga is so influential it made a 20% increase to the number of people who played basketball in Japan. They even showed a video of his CM for Shiseido where he painted on the floor with a giant paintbrush... just like a big art attack on Disney channel!. It's soooooo cool!!! Also, when the last volume of Slam Dunk was published, he had an exhibit of chalk drawings on blackboards on what happened to the characters of the manga. Because of the huge sales of Slam Dunk, he made an ad with his drawings, bought a whole page from all of the newspapers in Japan as a 'Thank You' for his fans/readers using his own money. Watch that show, I don't know the title but it's on NHK every saturday 9:00pm (Manila time).

another cool animation that i found while searching for ani kuri is a stop-motion about a cat named Komaneko. The frame-by-frame animation is so smooth you'd think it's made in 3D!

This made my day:
GIRAFFE HELPS CAMELS, ZEBRAS ESCAPE FROM CIRCUS

-----------------------------------------------

Busy week at the office. And our new room is uhmmm... a little lonely. Well anyway, I still don't want to watch the remaining episodes of Last Friends and Zettai Kareshi that are still waiting for me in my hard drive (Oo, Furanchi... ayoko pa tapusin kc mauubos na naman ang panonoorin ko..hehe).

I cooked Okonomiyaki last saturday. It was good (well, at least I think it's good.. I BELIEVE it's good XD). Lots of people were very fortunate to taste the fruit of my awesomeness..haha.

it was EDIBLE! and I am so damn proud of myself! 8D 8D 8D

--------------------------------------------------

Don't watch PRINCESS PRINCESS D. I'm serious. Just thinking about that stupid show makes me cringe. I didn't even try to finish the first episode.. I just couldn't stand it. All that I can remember are awkward silence between scenes, bad acting, ugly and plain background. The show is trying too hard to have an anime feel. It's so amateurish. It was SOOOO BORING and CORNY. I HATE IT.

------------------------------------------

We have no work tomorrow because it is Pasig Day. I'll stay home and play with our cats. Maybe I'll watch Last Friends and Zettai Kareshi na rin. =)

ABOUT ME:
i'm always in search of something... ermmm.. something what? even i don't know. sometimes i'm too giddy over the littlest of things, other times i'm in a slump- trying to figure out why i'm having another episode of semi-depression. i'm not bipolar though. i remember moments... the beautiful, funny, action-packed, romantic, whatever whatever that comes in front of my eyes. either i'm the protagonist or antagonist of the movie-like scene coz anyway, it's my freaking story. i write and rant about lots of stuff. if i can't express it in writing, i'll just draw it... you know, just to squeeze the creative juices. yeah, that is all.
